I Love Drew Barrymore

I love Drew Barrymore.  I truly do.  And now she's named her daughter the name I love the most!  And I can totally picturing her saying "Olive" with her crooked mouth and it's adorable.  Is that weird?  Yeah, it's wierd.

Drew Barrymore and her husband Will Kopelman have welcomed their first child – a baby girl named Olive, her rep confirms to JustJared.com.

“We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born September 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives,” Drew said in a statement via her rep.

The Bourne Legacy

Look, kids, we all know I can't be objective here.  I've been eagerly awaiting The Bourne Legacy forever now and I have what is legally referred to as a "hard-on" for Jeremy Renner.  The man could do anything - especially with gun in hand - and I'd be happy.  So I'm happy with The Bourne Legacy (which I got to see at an early screening - the third one this summer courtesy of Ain't It Cool News).

But I'm also not going to lie and say it was the most ~*~amazing~*~ movie ever.  It's not perfect.  For one, it takes far too long to get to the Rennery goodness.  I love Ed Norton.  But get off the screen already, Ed Norton.  The set-up takes far too long.  It's kind of odd how there are 2 different movies going on -- Ed Norton and the Top Secret Government People tracking Renner and then Renner out doing his stuff.  And they don't ever really feel connected.  So that sucks.  More Norton and Renner together please!

Another thing that probably taints (heh) my view on this movie a little - I've watched the trailer 1,471 times.  And it contains the whole movie.  So I felt like I'd seen all the action scenes, all the fights already.  But let me tell you -- the motorcycle chase through Manila?  Greatest thing ever put on film.  At least the greatest motorcycle chase ever.  Rachel Weisz is the bomb too, I always love her.  She has my blessing.

I am looking forward to seeing this movie with Mike so he can shoot holes in all of the science - chems, viruses, I doubt any of that made any sense.  But when my little man starts kicking ass, I don't really care.  The man is an athlete and I love him.

Excuse Me While I Die

This is all my dreams coming true.  Every. Single. One.  I can't contain the fangirl glee.  I can't wait until August.  The Bourne Legacy.  Jeremy Renner.  My god.  I'm simply going to spontaneously combust!

Oh Happy Day

The trailer for The Bourne Legacy was released today, along with the poster, and of course it was the day I was all tied up and away from my Google Reader.  That's OK, I've made up for it by watching it at least 14 times.  Thank god for good friends like Bobby Z who keep me updated on the latest breaking Jeremy Renner news.

Come for the Renner, stay for the beard at the end.  And the Inception-esque music.  I'm psyched!!!!

Can I also be excited because Stacy Keach is in it?  Because I AM!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

This. Must. Happen.

I'm back on my Jeremy Renner bandwagon. This needs to happen. I don't even know what a Hawkeye is, but if it puts ol' JR in a major movie, I'm all for it. Oh, and I've actually done a bit of research on Hawkeye - sounds like a complex, awesome character. Bring it!

Jeremy Renner is in final negotiations to join The Avengers, Marvel Studios' big-screen take on its superhero team that's being directed by Joss Whedon.

Renner will play the bow-and-arrow-carrying hero Hawkeye, who, while not one of the initial members of the team when it was created in the 1960s, became an integral member soon after when the misguided villain switched sides.

Renner will join Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man/Tony Stark, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Don Cheadle as War Machine.

The Hulk may also be a character in the movie, but at this stage, there is no deal that would bring back Ed Norton, who starred as the emerald giant in 2008's The Incredible Hulk.

Renner's involvement was initially rumored last fall, although the actor, who was in the middle of the awards derby with his war thriller The Hurt Locker, was at the time more taken with Paul Thomas Anderson's untitled drama and was being heavily courted by Universal for Battleship.

Renner never joined Battleship, and while he still has definite interest in Anderson's film, that project is still cobbling financing and has seen its start pushed back several times.

Renner saw a chance to take on work in a role that, while key, is not starring in nature and will allow him to slide into Anderson's film if it should come together.

To keep costs manageable for The Avengers, Marvel is trying to keep a lid on the movie's finances and the actors are taking salary cuts, according to insiders.

Blast From The Past

Oh. My. God.

So I used to be obsessed with Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, right? And waaaaay past when I should have been. And I was seriously in love with Tommy, the Green/White Ranger. Where is he now?
Check out these new promo pics of mixed martial artist Jason David Frank, best known as Tommy/Green/White Ranger from the hit series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

The 35-year-old has just signed on with Sucker Punch Entertainment with the hopes of becoming a UFC fighter.

“I was supposed to fight in 2007, but it fell through. In truth, I’ve wanted to put the work in until I’m ready,” JDF said in an interview with SPE. “I know I have a target on my back. Everyone is going to want to beat up the Green Ranger. But I am no Kimbo; I’ve been training for a very long time. I wanted to get in there before, but I got injured. But I’ll be ready when the time comes.”

I'm sorry - does that tattoo say "Jesus Didn't Tap"? Nice.

SYTYCD: Even More Reason to Love Jeanine

As if I needed a reason other than her hair, boobs, and dancing ability (yes - in that order), I just read this:

According to an exclusive interview with TV Guide Magazine, last year Jeanine was diagnosed with Pigmented Villondular Synovitis (PVNS) a rare diseases which creates inflammation in the joint linings. While the disease often attacks the knees, Jeanine's first symptoms were in her left elbow, which she could not straighten. Over the past year and a half, Jeanine had two surgeries and radiation treatment to treat the illness, something she never discussed on air or during her time on So You Think You Can Dance.

Jeanine has decided to donate some of her $250,000 winnings to an Alzheimer Charity she started with her sister in the memory of her grandfather who died with the illness.

Another Girl Crush Bites The Dust

In a picture perfect East Coast wedding, Heroes actress Ali Larter wed her longtime actor beau Hayes MacArthur at his family estate in Kennebunkport, Maine on Saturday evening, her rep confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.

Under a canopy of trees late in the afternoon, the bride, 33, dazzled in a Vera Wang sweetheart neck, A-line gown of Chantilly with hand-pieced corded lace appliqué, while her groom, 32, wore a Ralph Lauren Black Label peak-lapel tuxedo and Polo Ralph Lauren bow tie.

Larter walked down a grassy aisle lined with purple, pink and white flowers and carried a simple matching bouquet as guests looked on.

Excuse me while I stare at that first picture some more. It's freaking amazingly gorgeous. Oh Ali, I love you so much.

Damn You, England!

As if Independence Day wasn't enough reason to hate England, now they've gone and infected my #1 Stone Cold Hottie with the Swine Flu!
"It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu," his rep says in a statement. "He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards."

Good lord. Maybe I don't understand "art" so I don't know what point the Details magazine photographer was trying to get across with these pictures. But I don't really care. Christian Bale + gun = a great Tuesday for me!
