TV News

If you consider casting for a TV show a spoiler, I don't want to know you and you can move on. They just announced an addition to next season on Fringe and I couldn't be happier!!!

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Seth Gabel — who has recurred the last two seasons as Bolivia’s “Over There” colleague, Lincoln Lee — will return in Season 4 as a full-fledged series regular.

I am soooo happy about this, because I love Lincoln Lee. Now the question is which Lincoln Lee we get, but whatever - I'll take him in any form.

And in news I'm not happy about?

Escape artist Chuck, which has successfully cheated cancellation for the past two years, will be coming back to fight again next season. I hear a deal is being finalized for a 13-episode order to the NBC spy dramedy.

This show is 2 years past its expiration date, at least at the rate it's been going. If they can switch back to the way Seasons 1 and 2 were, that'd be fabulous. More Buy More, more Morgan, more funny, less relationshippy. I assume Chuck and Sarah are getting married next week - that'll make for interesting TV next year. Not. I loved Chuck more than anything in the beginning. But that show has disappointed me for too long. It's joyless.

TV Is Really Pissing Me Off

I started my day with the "great" news that the SyFy (really?) Channel is going to make an American version of Being Human. NO! Being Human is amazing. And British. And does not deserve to be gutted and crapped on by America. Please watch the original version, people. It's amazing.

Then I finished my day with the rumor that Fringe might not make it through the season. That makes sense. Take the best new show of last season and put it on Thursdays opposite a bunch of established stuff so that it ends up in the ratings basement and then cancel it. NO! Fox will feel my wrath!!!

But that second article has a bit of good news - the writers for Heroes are being told to prepare themselves for the series finale this May, giving them a chance to wrap up all their storylines before then.

And then earlier Entertainment Weekly reported that Chuck's order is being upped to 19 episodes. So thank god for small miracles. It's not all bad.

BUT IF FRINGE IS CANCELED, I WILL END IT!

Comic-Con: Saturday: Chuck

The Chuck panel was quite simply everything I thought it would be. I knew all of the cast members would be appreciative of the fans. They were. I figured they'd be hysterical and have great chemistry on the panel. They did. And I guaran-effing-teed we'd get a live performance by Jeffster. And they rocked the house with "Fat Bottomed Girls". So great.

I have far too many great photos. The panel was so much fun. The cast was beyond appreciative of the fans and their efforts to keep the show - I think Zachary Levi teared up!! Joshua Gomez was rocking a huge beard... and pink underwear.

As audience members asked questions/suggested things for Season 3, the writers would take down what they were saying, joking that they needed the ideas. They said Awesome is going to be pulled into the spy world now that he knows about Chuck. And they've got a new website at http://chuckmeout.com/.

The energy was great; they were all funny; and Chuck and Morgan are real-life BFFs - nothing makes me happier!

Here are a few short Jeffster vids, if you're into that kind of thing. Which you SHOULD BE!
