Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
I do weird things to amuse myself. I enjoy pretending that I find Ron Weasley sexy - I even have a Ron Weasley tee shirt. But I don't know who the hell Ron Weasley is. I've never read any of the Harry Potter books, because reading is for losers. I tried watching the first movie twice, but fell asleep both times. But the ultimate amusement I've found with Harry Potter? I watched the final movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. It's like watching a popular series Memento-style. Except that I don't plan on continuing.
The movie was exactly what I thought Harry Potter was all about - wand-pointing and wizardry. I followed it well enough, because ol' HP has invaded pop culture so much that you can't help but have some knowledge of the universe. This was probably the best one for me to watch, as it appears all the kiddie stuff and teen angst was in the previous movies. I pretty much got right to the action. And, of course, Ron Weasley removed his shirt.

Ewww... Ron shirtless. You're gross. If you wanted to bi-pass the kiddie stuff and teen stuff, then yes, you probably did the right thing by watching the last one. (Really you should have seen Part 1 FIRST). At any rate, I too fell asleep THREE times during the first movie, BEFORE I read the entire series of books. Some Math teacher pushed me to read the books, I thought I'd be a failure, and it turns out J.K. Rowling knows a thing or two about writing and holding an audience's interest. So I flew through the series. And you could too! I challenge you! ;-)
We all know the real reason you went to see it was to see the Dark Knight Rises. Don't hide behind Ron Weasley when we all know you love Christian Bale. -JP
ad Hermione didn't do shit - all the guys were taking off their shirts, and she's there all chaste and crap....what a tease...
Dissapointed with the Dark Knight Trailer - Im sure the movie will rock it, but just an annoying re-hash "end to the journey" type deals.....yawnn....
Good movie - although I kept wondering how they hid Ralph Fiennes nose...
