We're mixing up the couples tonight! Oh yeah! I can't believe this is the Top Ten though. Evan? Really?
Guest Judge: Debbie Allen. Love. Her.
First off, we get all the Girls performing Bollywood. It was gorgeous, of course. Later, the Guys did an African dance. It was great, but guess who stuck out like a pasty, white, pudgy, shirtless, dorky, sore thumb? At least Evan's always good for a laugh. (Nigel said he danced like a milkshake, but I think he meant it as a compliment.)
1. Kayla and Evan: Viennese Waltz by Tony Meredith. LOL because Kayla is waaaay taller than Evan; she had to dance barefoot and he wore heeled shoes! She was gorgeous; he was short and dorky. It really sucked solely because of his height. Ugh.
2. Janette and Ade: Hip Hop by Tabitha & Napoleon. OH YES! A powerhouse couple. They were amazing. They're definitely 2 of the top 3 dancers. I even liked Janette -- and she wasn't hiding that horrible hair under a wig! Ade was funky as hell.
3. Jeanine and Jason: Contemporary by Travis From Season Two. There was loads of throwing around and lifts and then a super-hot makeout session at the end. Like, full-on macking. HOT! The routine really fit their styles well and they partnered well together. It was the clear hit of the night, mostly because it was such a surprise.
4. Randi and Kupono: Paso Doble by Tony Meredith. It was crazy dramatic, but something seemed off. Randi's wig looked like a wig and I didn't buy it, it just seemed very fake. The dancing felt a little stilted and like they couldn't keep up with the good choreography. With bonus stumble at the end. Clearly the failure of the night.
5. Brandon and Melissa: Broadway by Tyce Diorio. Another powerhouse couple. They danced to "Aquarius" from Hair. The choreography was cool and they were great.
Everyone did solos too. Brandon's was damn amazing. It's gotta be him and Ade for the top 2 guys.
