So the gang is back on their mission to find the other 5 data cards, whatever they are. They have to find another within 24 hours or they're back in prison. Ooooo. The suspense. Cuz that'll be a short season if they don't!
Lincoln overhears Mahone telling Lang (Hi Agent Lang!) that the bad guys killed his son. She did some research into who was responsible so now Mahone can enact VENGEANCE! And act CRAZY!
There is much solving of codes and puzzles. Good thing some of these guys are smart. And the other ones are named Sucre, Bellick, and Lincoln. Lincoln's good with an ax, and that's about it. Like the one he Linc!Smashed against a window to free Michael from a server room.
There is much chasing. I couldn't even figure out why they were being chased, but they were. A lot. And then they were caught. And released. Honestly, this show confuses me. I guess I should pay attention to the dialogue or something.
Sara's pal Bruce got killed after not giving up her location. Next week they all run into T-Bag.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
OK, so last year I tried to get into this show. I gave up after 3 episodes. Mike said that's when it started getting good, some other people said the same thing, so I picked it back up on the reruns. And guess what - they were right! It got good when Brian Austin Green joined the show! Which really goes against everything you would think possible, I know. But he kicks ass and the show was suddenly good. Go figure. I still can't stand this brat John Connor, but I can overlook him now.
There was much in the way of car chases and car crashes and explosions. Cameron the Terminator survived the car explosion to think she was programmed to terminate John. John got a little more street cred by actually killing a dude. And he was a little more violent in his emo-ness. Then he "killed" Cameron, even after she begged for her "life". But right before burning her body, he fixed her chip and brought her back. So now we get same old Cameron, new kickass John. He even has a tough new haircut to go with it.
Shirley Manson from Garbage joined the cast as an Evil Corporation Chick. She was pretty cool. Then she turned out to be one of those liquidy Terminators like in T2 and she got REALLY COOL!

Long, confusing luxury competition. Memphis murdering a moth by feeding it to a spider. Jessie in a gorilla suit. Just another thrilling episode of Big Brother 10.
Dan won a trip outside the house to a beach. He could choose a guest - either a HouseGuest or a Jury Member. He chose Michelle, thinking she'd be so appreciative. Dude, she has to go WITH YOU. Who the hell would want that? (He neglected to mention to the HouseGuests that he chose to take a Jury Member. Smart, though of course I hope it backfires.)
Nominated: Jerry and Memphis. In an effort to hide the Renegade alliance. I hope that backfires too!

Oh. My. God.

We're gonna have a problem here. I don't eat KFC because I don't like to eat anything with bones.
And now it's boneless.
Oh NO!
(This is yet another reason I'm glad football is back -- commercials.)

BBX: Eviction
I didn't realize Renny and Keesha were such freaking BFFs. How do they keep slipping these relationships in under my radar? Or do I just not pay enough attention? Or was that just the wine talking with them?
We got to meet the lucky girl who gets to date that winner Memphis. How lovely for her. He's quite a catch: 3 years into the relationship and he's just realizing he should be more selfless and give her what she needs. Awesome.
Jury House update. Lots of cattiness over Keesha gaining weight. Bitches. But I do love how much they hate Dan. And how cute April and Ollie are!! Awwww!
Evicted: Renny. I'm kind of surprised Dan and Memphis didn't split their vote and force Jerry to break the tie. But I guess they couldn't trust him to do what they wanted.
Head of Household: Dan. EFF.
This is like the Worst Final Four ever. Jerry is the best, I guess? Sometimes I can tolerate Keesha. I don't know. Ugh. It had just better not be DAN!

Stay Classy, Cumberland
Here's a summary of the big news out of Cumberland, Maryland: First, a couple young girls stole a wheelchair from a woman with CP and took it for a joyride. Then another dude was seen riding around in it, until a guy gave him a pack of cigarettes for it. Then this guy sold the wheelchair to his friend for $165, and when this third guy saw on the news that the wheelchair had been stolen he took the chair back and dumped it in a ditch and now it's broken. LOL, hicks!
source (besides my BFF)
When Jolene Griffieth’s wheelchair was discovered by a passerby in a ditch along an East Side street last week, she was elated that the expensive mobility had been found. But when she arrived at the Cumberland Police station to reclaim the device, Griffieth could quickly see mechanical deficiencies.
“When I got to see it, it was completely waterlogged and every piece that could be broken off the frame was broken off. It is completely inoperable,” said Griffieth.
Cumberland Police have now charged a city man with theft under $500 for his alleged involvement in the case. According to district court documents, Wiliam J. White, 23, of Walnut Street allegedly had possession of the wheelchair early last week after the wheelchair was taken from Griffieth’s residence in the 300 block of Frederick Street.
Allegedly, two city girls, ages 13 and 11, stole the wheelchair and then took it for a joy ride before abandoning it in the area of Knox and Columbia streets.
It was apparently not long after that when White encountered an unidentified man who was riding the wheelchair in that area. White said he gave the man some cigarettes to take possession of the wheelchair.
Subsequently, White allegedly contacted a Waverly Terrace man whom he knew was in the market for a wheelchair. White sold the wheelchair to the man for $165, stating that the wheelchair had belonged to an elderly friend of his who had recently died.
However, following a Times-News article about the stolen wheelchair, White contacted the man, advising him that he had learned from the published accounts that the wheelchair was stolen. White then reportedly took the chair and disposed of it on James Day Drive where it was later discovered.
The man who allegedly purchased the wheelchair contacted police, leading to White being charged in the case.

There is NOTHING I love more than when The Daily Show highlights hypocrisy. And OH MY GOD last night was brilliant. They must have an amazing research staff to dig up all these old clips. I love it.

Project Runway
Challenge: Designing for designer Diane von Furstenberg. LOL, Kenley is crying over her being there. Then cried over being able to use her fabrics. Oh, Kenley, so emotional in the diaries - I hope that doesn't mean she's getting auf'd this week! She's a freaking wreck. (And shhhhh... I'm finding her a tad annoying - but don't tell her.)
There were lots of layers involved in a lot of the outfits -- and a lot were messy-looking.
Leanne's sweater didn't go with the gown - I say lose it cuz the dress was great. I thought Terri's was fabulous, Blayne's was a HOT MESS, and Stella's was gross - the pants made the model look like she was packing. Why does Jerell always add a belt and ruin an outfit?! Joe's was a good concept at first, but that shiny shawl thing sucked -- there was a lot going on. Kenley's dress was gorgeous and is totally sell-able and wearable!
Winner: Leanne. The plain girl wins again.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out: Stella. FINALLY!!! And a huge SIGH of relief, because it was between her and Joe. And no way did he deserve to go - he rocks.

BBX: Power of Veto (Snore)
Most Boring Final Five Ever. Snore. When the highlight of the episode is Jerry falling into the pool (and that was funny), you know it's boring.
Power of Veto Competition. Snore. Especially when Renny's being a dumb idiot during them.
PoV: Memphis, who uses it on Dan.
Replacement Nominee: Renny, the only other option. I'd imagine she's going home this week.
And I guess we get no mention of Hurricane Gustav. Whatever, New Orleans survived.

Prison Break Returns and It's UNBELIEVABLE (no, really?)
Previously on Prison Break, it was getting tedious and even more ridiculous than normal and annoying the piss out of me, yet I couldn't break away. I just can't give up this show. And going in to tonight's 2-hour premiere, I was pretty excited about the things I saw in the promos.
One thing I love about this show: the score. It kicks major ass. That hasn't changed.
We open with Michael hunting down Whistler, Mahone, and Gretchen, seeking revenge for Sara's death. They tell him that Sara's not really dead. So much for those revenge plans. Plan B: Find Sara.
The Panamanian Prison? Burned down. All of the boys who were left in there - on the loose. How terribly convenient. Bellick and Sucre are together and they get arrested when they go to visit Sucre's new baby in the hospital.
Lincoln's kicking it in Panama with his girlfriend and his son. He kills a Company Dude in self-defense and is arrested. Mahone: Arrested. Sensing a pattern yet?!
Michael is arrested in Chicago trying to find Sara. Michael Rapaport is from Homeland Security and strikes a deal with him - full pardon for him and his brother in exchange for some kind of mission I didn't bother paying attention to. Finding something-or-other - does it even matter?
But The Brothers are going to need help. So... The Gang's all back together, and needs to work together to do - whatever it is they have to do. The reason is incidental. The government even pays for Michael's tattoos to be removed by some method that I'm sure won't leave hideous scars. I like how we're just erasing things that have happened over the last 3 seasons. Literally. Hey, at least now he can go shirtless.
Michael and Sara reunite. She has a head, all is well. There is kissing and origami, which is all these two kids ever really had. And she's joining The Gang. And we get a Bonus Asian Guy! Roland, the Wacky Computer Geek. Or, as Lincoln so eloquently put it: "He's a douche." God, I love Lincoln the Meathead.
OK, so basically they are all trying to hunt down some kind of data card in The Company's possession. Roland has a gadget that will pick up the card's information, they slip the gadget into a maid's bag--- you know what? Long story short: They get the info off the card, but lose the gadget in the process and have to break into a well-protected house to get it. That wasn't very short, was it? Anyway, they got it, but discover they need 5 other data cards to complete the task. Okay. Now we have a mission for the season. This show is essentially now Ocean's Eleven.
Our cliffhanger: Michael gets some kind of nosebleed. Now what? A tumor? (Honestly, that was the cliffhanger.)
And what of T-Bag, you ask? Oh, I saved the best for last my friends. He's wandering through the Mexican desert with that bloody Bird Book from last season, and the goal of finding Michael. He's with some fat Mexican dude. Mike's sitting next to me and goes: "You know what's going to happen? T-Bag's going to eat that dude." I said, "No effing way. That's too much even for this show. T-Bag's done a lot of S, but that is just wrong." Then they fight, the guy hits his head on a rock and dies. Then there's a shot of T-Bag in front of a fire, and he drags the dude over to it. OMFG WAS THERE JUST IMPLIED CANNIBALISM ON TELEVISION? And why is Mike so psychic?????
Some ATV-ers pick him up and he is puking in his mouth. Random guy: "What's wrong, man? Did you eat some bad Mexican?" T-Bag: "Something like that." LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. T-Bag uses said Bird Book to find a locker, which has a new identity, etc. etc. in it - designated for Whistler. But really - what's important here - cannibalism!
R.I.P.: Whistler, via kickass headshot, Company job. Mahone's family, off-camera Company job.
This is still the Most Craptastic Show on Television. There was cannibalism, people! We've had incest, cannibalism.... GREAT STUFF I'm telling you.

I Love a Good Republican Scandal
Bristol Palin, the 17-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin, is pregnant and will keep the baby and marry the father, a senior aide to Sen. John McCain confirmed to CNN.
Republican presidential candidate McCain was aware of Bristol Palin's pregnancy before he chose her mother for his running mate, the aide said.
"Senator McCain knew this and felt in no way did it disqualify her from being vice president," said the aide. "Families have difficulties sometimes, and lucky for her she has a supportive family."
The 17-year-old, a senior in high school, is about five months along, in her second trimester, according to the aide.
The aide said it was decided the campaign would reveal this information now because of rampant Internet rumors that Sarah Palin's 4-month-old baby, who has Down syndrome, was actually Bristol's.
"In the course of correcting that, we needed to get the truth out," said the McCain aide.
Sarah and Todd Palin issued a statement saying they are "proud of Bristol's decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents."
They also asked the media to respect their daughter's privacy.
I really love that rumor about Sarah lying and saying the Down's Syndrome baby was hers when it was really her grandkid. But I knew it was too good to be true. Sarah Palin is the Lynne Spears of VP candidates.

I'll be honest - whenever I follow the latest Hurricane Gustav news, I immediately think about Renny. She's from New Orleans, her family is there, and I wondered if she was going to be told about the storm and if CBS is taking care of her family. No mention of it in last night's show, but they gotta mention it at some point this week. I'll bet her family was evacuated and is staying in one of Les Moonves's houses.
Head of Household: Jerry. THAT WAS AWESOME! It was one of those down-to-the-wire competitions and I'm so glad he won just because now one of that Dumb Alliance has to go. More drama, please!
Jerry can't make a deal or a secret alliance with anyone - they're all untrustworthy. He makes a "deal" with Memphis to make it to the Finale. Dumb. I thought he should try to work with Renny because she's the one most likely to get the shaft from that alliance, and probably the most trustworthy. At least he didn't deal with Dan.
Nominated: Keesha and Dan.

Women Can't Lead

John McCain has chosen Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his vice-presidential candidate on the Republican ticket for the White House, a senior McCain campaign official has told CNN. The 44-year-old Palin, now in her first term as governor, is a pioneering figure in Alaska, the first woman and the youngest person to hold the state's top political job.
But women get, like, periods and stuff. And McCain's gonna die while in office. And then what - I have to live in a country ruled by a hormonal woman? I don't think so.
In all seriousness though, this is turning out to be quite the historic presidential race, whichever way it goes. Kinda cool.

Mulder, You Dog!
David Duchovny is currently at a rehabilitation center for sex addiction.
“I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction,” the former X-Files star’s lawyer tells People. “I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”
Duchovny, 48, has been married to actress Téa Leoni for over 10 years and they have two children together – daughter Madelaine, 9, and son Kyd, 6.
Back in May, Best Life reported, “There was the time [Duchovny] confessed to a reporter about his fascination with hotel porn (’I like to watch other people —k’ was the exact quote) and rumors swirled that he was a sex addict.”
Screw his privacy - I want details!!
BBX: Double Eviction!
WTH? Double Eviction Night? Did they tell us this in advance? I must have missed it, what with all the fast-forwarding I do. YAY HOORAY!
Michelle is predictably pissed about being nominated. In that brash Michelle way. Ollie calls Dan out for breaking their deal. Dan walks away. LOL! He's such an asshole. Ollie raged out and broke stuff.
First Eviction: Michelle. At least I don't have to look at her or hear her voice anymore.
Ultra-Fast Head of Household: Keesha. DAMMIT! Jerry was thisclose.
Ultra-Fast Nominations: Jerry and Ollie.
Ultra-Fast Power of Veto: Dan. Doesn't use it.
Second Eviction: Ollie. He just fails at this game. He didn't even look like he was trying he was so pissed after the HoH Competition. Hell, he was pissed after Dan's crap. Now he can see his girlfriend at least.
This totally sucks though because he was the only one left that I liked. I'M BITTER! I love how he just got right up and walked out. Much love, Ollie!
Now the big alliance gets to cannibalize each other. That should be fun. Ish.

Project Runway
Challenge: Create an outfit from Saturn car parts. WTH? Most bizarre challenge yet!
Kenley better watch out - if she keeps whining about how much her life sucks because her model dropped out, I might not love her as much anymore. Woe is you, Kenley. Get over it.
Stella has a boyfriend named "Ratbones". Of course she does.
Keith continued his tradition of being a Giant Dick. Especially when his model sat down in his skirt and ripped it. Hahahahaha.
They came up with some amazing outfits, I was really surprised. I really liked Kenley's and Terri's. Apparently, I drink their Kool-Aid - the judges put them in the middle of the pack.
Blayne's was just a mess of seat belts sewn together that didn't fit properly. Ew. I didn't like Stella's either; the skirt was a good concept with poor execution and it didn't relate to the top. And then there's Keith's half-sewn monstrosity. All thrown together and just wrong. Of course he whined about how he was criticized so much last challenge and so he tried something different. Quit your bitching, ass.
Korto's jacket was amazing.
Winner: Leanne. The Plainest Plain Girl to Ever Live.
Bye-bye: Keith. GOOD RIDDANCE! I laughed when he cried. I'm sorry, not cried - bawled his lame-ass head off. Hate!

BBX: Power of Veto
America voted on which Houseguest should get a phone call from home. All of them boo-hooed about how much they'd like to win. Jerry won. Awwwww. It's just too sweet watching old people speak to each other, even if Jerry can be a bastard. And sounds like Gary the Retard.
Dan doesn't plan to keep his agreement with Ollie - if someone gets off the block with the Power of Veto, Dan plans to put up Michelle.
BUT - Ollie wasn't eligible to play in the PoV competition - so if someone wins it, he can be put up. That would really break the deal!! This made me extra anxious during the competition, when normally I'd be fast-forwarding through it.
Power of Veto: Memphis. So he took himself off the block.
I didn't get Dan's little "Replacement Nominee Roulette" AT ALL. He thought it was so brilliant. He made the HG's tell him who should be nominated, but he told them all about it in advance and told them who to choose. So what? They each chose an enemy anyway. As with everything Dan did, it was overly complicated and pointless.
Replacement Nominee: Michelle.
DAN IS A LIAR! HE SWORE ON ST. MARY'S!!! DOES HIS FOOTBALL TEAM MEAN NOTHING TO HIM?? IS NOTHING SACRED?? DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIE

Wow, that endurance competition looked painful - hanging from a rope and then banging into a wall, all while being in the cold rain? Yuck. It came down to Dan and Ollie, and I was just waiting for them to make a deal. Dan offered Ollie this crazy deal wherein essentially Dan is just a Figurehead Head of Household. Ollie choose who gets nominated, and if the Power of Veto is used, Ollie chooses a substitute nominee. Wow. Dan loves to think he's faking weakness, but I don't know he just might be weak. Were those fake tears, or is he just a pussy? Methinks he doth protest too much.
Was this a smart deal? It's smart because it puts the blood on Ollie's hands. However, this could be a great thing for Ollie if it works out, since Ollie is essentially HoH this week AND is eligible to compete for it next week. However, part of me wonders if Dan will screw Ollie over and nominate him if the PoV is used. Dan did swear on his girlfriend and St. Mary's though, so I don't think he's going back on his word.
Is there a way I can win this year's Big Brother kitchen? Cuz I WANT.
Nominated: Jerry and Memphis.

Transporter 3 Teaser
Couldn't find F&F, but I found this. I like the Transporter movies. I suppose for the same reasons I noted in my liking of Death Race. Guns, cars, muscles, violence. It's all good. The third one comes with a bonus: Robert Knepper as the bad guy. Can I get an Amen?
Cars Cars Everywhere Cars

Do you like guns? Do you like cars? Do you like guns on cars? Do you like well-built guys in and out of wifebeaters and tight shirts? Do you like senseless violence and swearing?
If you answered "No" to any of these questions, I don't want to know you. If, however, you like all of these things, see Death Race. There are far worse ways to spend a rainy afternoon. It was a lot of mindless fun and I loved it.
There were a couple new trailers in front of it that were cool too: Transporter 3 and Fast and Furious. I know what you're thinking - wasn't that already a movie? No. There was The Fast and the Furious. This would be another sequel, without those pesky "the"s. It's got EVERYONE from the original cast, it looks HELLA kickass. I think we're supposed to pretend the others didn't happen. I'm going to see if I can find the trailer online.

Awww. April and Ollie Showmance Retrospective. I love him so much. Her I go back and forth on. She can be needy and whiny, but that's probably just cuz she's a girl and that's how girls are.
Hot tip for Renny: If you want Memphis gone so badly, nominate him! You're the damn HoH - you know you could have done that, right?
Evicted: April. How funny that April and Libra have to be in the Jury House alone together for a week.
Dan is the Lamest Contestant Ever. "I vote to evict Jer- I vote to evict April." Oh jeez Dan, you really had me going for a minute there. Unfunny idiot.
Endurance Head of Household competition - grrr. So it's To Be Continued.
I'm pretty sure Ollie is the only one left that I like.

It's a... Zuma? WTF?
Gwen Stefani and her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed their second child, a son, on Thursday in Los Angeles, PEOPLE has learned.
Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale was born at 12:46 p.m. and weighed 8 1/2 lbs. He joins the couple's other son Kingston, who turned 2 in May.
I thought Zuma was a girl's name....
Project Runway: What a Drag (Get It? Har Har)
CHRIS MARCH! The Greatest Contestant in the History of Contestants! Drag queen challenge! The funniest part was when the drag queens came in for fittings without any makeup and in regular clothes, LOL! So cute! And they were the Most Critical Models Ever. It was hysterical.
Daniel is a pretentious A-hole. And he didn't want to do sequins because they're gaudy. Hello - drag!!!
Suede had a vision of his dead grandfather, who helped inspire his dress. Like, he showed up in the work room? Oooookaaaaaay.
I'm so over Keith and his fringe, swatches, whatever! His dress was so boring and looked like it was made out of old newspaper.
There were so many fabulous outfits! It was definitely a fun runway show, and for the most part the designers were awesome.
Guest Judge: RuPaul, who is awesome.
Winner: Joe. The straight guy wins the drag queen challenge! Love it! He's really cool; I like him.
Bye-bye: Daniel. That was a bit of a surprise, just cuz I thought Keith was worse. Michael Kors said Keith's looked like a "sad chicken." Oh yes!
Tim Line of the Day: "It looks like it's a pterodactyl out of a gay Jurassic Park." And he was spot-on! And Blayne took it as a compliment. Which, in this challenge, it probably was.

This Saddened Me

Seriously, this guy is hysterical and awesome and seems so nice. Maybe he is nice. A nice crackhead.
Craig Robinson of The Office and Pineapple Express pleaded guilty Wednesday in a Los Angeles court to a felony count of possession of ecstasy.
"The judge allowed him to enter a drug-diversion program," said L.A. District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison. "If he completes counseling and stays clean for 18 months, the case will be dismissed."
One felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence were dropped.
Robinson, 36, who plays warehouse supervisor Darryl Philbin on the NBC comedy, was pulled over for a traffic violation in Culver City, Calif., on June 29, and officers discovered drugs in his car.
Please Be True!

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are a couple again, reports LaineyGossip.
Ryan, 27, and Rachel, 31, went on a date at Grace restaurant on College Street in Toronto, Canada around 10PM on Monday night. The couple walked in holding hands!
A few weeks ago, Ryan and Rachel were photographed together after he deejayed at the Green Door lounge in Hollywood.
Seriously, one of my favoritest couples. I hope they're together and happy. *sigh*
BBX: Power of Veto
Just noticed Memphis got rid of that horrid 'stache thing. Yay!
Ollie really crapped the bed on that Veto Competition. Idiot. Power of Veto: Dan.
I can't stand Jerry. He called Dan "Judas" for days, but as soon as he needs him he begs and kisses his ass. Ass. Enough with the "street fighter" analogy, Jerry! We get it.
I forgot about the bribe money that April has! Ooooo... bribes! Awkward bribes!
Dan didn't use the Power of Veto, but did call April out for offering him money. Ha ha!
I was all manic and crazy-hyper before watching this episode. It has now killed my buzz with its boredom and pointlessness. Thanks, Big Brother. Buzzkiller.

Disney = Sexy

It doesn't take a lot of foresight to realize the list of acceptable words or phrases acceptable to print little girl underpants is very short. But apparently the people involved in the production of Disney High School Musical panties either lack the skill of looking ahead or just aren't very bright when it comes to double entrendre.
A British woman bought a pack of High School Musical underpants for her seven-year-old granddaughter was appalled to find the words "Dive In" on one of pairs.
I thought the whole thing with High School Musical is that the chicks don't wear panties. So the cross-promotion makes no sense from the start.

Pineapple Express

This movie was really funny. Maybe not as laugh-out-loud funny as Tropic Thunder, but still good in a different way. There was more action. It was pretty violent. And there was lots and lots of pot smoking. You will want to smoke pot when you see this movie. If you're a degenerate.
THUG LIFE!

Ewww creepy Jerry stalking Ollie and April and always showing up when they're laying together. Gross!
Renny was freaking out over getting pictures of her mother, and it was cute. But then I found out she was dead and that's kind of weird. That Renny is a trip.
Boring-ass episode!
Nominated: April and Jerry.

U S A! U S A!
I Fangirl Jim Gaffigan
We saw Jim Gaffigan in Miami and he was great! This was our second time seeing him and he amazes me. He's the only comic I know who can open with an ear-splitting "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!" and everyone goes nuts. Also, he works pretty clean and yet I still love him.
I think it's due to his main topics: laziness and food. Yes, he did the Hot Pockets jokes and yes, I had parts of them memorized - but I still laughed so hard! I'm so with him on being too lazy to recycle and make the bed. Like he said, "I don't re-tie my shoes after I take them off, why would I make the bed? I'm planning to be back in it in a few hours." (Only he said it, you know, funnier.)
This video is his take on his Greasy Lover, Bacon.

It happened to me with Star Trek and now it's happening to you Harry Potter lovers.
That quote sounds terribly pornographic to me. Maybe I'll see this movie after all.
In a last-minute move, Warner Brothers has just announced that the studio is pulling Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from its fall lineup and rescheduled it for July 17, 2009.
As for why the film was pushed out of fall, the studio explained in a statement that summertime is the “ideal window for a family tent pole release.”

I was so excited going into this week's show because either Libra or Keesha is going home. I hope it's Libra, but either way it means they're being broken up so that makes me happy.
LOL at Dan playing the sympathy card with everyone feeling bad for him because Jerry picks on him and calls him Judas. I do love that he's exploiting that.
LOL at April saying Keesha doesn't like her because April's prettier and Keesha is 30 and works at Hooters and never went to college.
Damn Big Brother for making me sympathize with Libra because her husband and family are so damned cute!
Evicted: Libra. She's also the first Jury Member. So she has to leave the House, but still doesn't get to see her kids. HA!
Ollie - get rid of that stripe of hair on your chin. But keep flying under the radar, because I think you can win this thing.
What happened to America's Player? Did I miss something? Did we give up that idea this week? I thought there was going to be a new one each week, but then again I don't pay that much attention to this show.
Head of Household: Renny. The old lady is ruling the house!!

I Give Tropic Thunder Thunderous Applause

Thankfully, this movie totally lived up to the hype and was hysterical. It opens with these hysterical fake trailers for movies the actors starred in, and just stays funny the whole time.
Loads of great celebrity cameos. Robert Downey, Jr. was amazing. ("You never go full retard.") There's just one major problem with this movie:
I liked Tom Cruise in this movie!
I haven't liked a movie with Tom Cruise in it (or the man himself) except for Magnolia. But this? This is hysterical. He is hysterical. He's foul-mouthed and bizarre and I HATED myself for laughing at him.
So, in summation, Tropic Thunder is hysterical. Clearly.
Project Runway
Challenge: Designing for Brooke Shields, and specifically her character on a Show No One Watches And Will Be Canceled By Next Season. Goddamn NBC Universal and their freaking cross-promotion. That is really bothering me so far this season. Enough!
And it's a team challenge - teams of 2. Always love the drama with those. And the awkwardness of the designers presenting their concepts to the celeb-in-question. AND the awkwardness of the designers picking their teammate. Stella was Last Picked. HAHAHAHAHAHA
Tim Gunn Burns of the Day:
"It looks like a big sweet potato."
"And some of you are still sewing, question mark?" God I love a man who verbalizes his punctuation.
I can't say I was overwhelmed by any of the designs. I hated Jerell's, but the judges loved it. What do I know. Maybe it was just the belt that bothered me.
OMG, I love Kenley even more for busting out laughing when Daniel defended himself and was all, "I have impeccable, high-end taste" - I was doing the same thing!!
Winner: Keith. He only won cuz he had Kenley on his team and she's all things lovely.
Bye-bye: Kelli. Her design was definitely trashy, but I loved her so much overall. So BOO!
Next week: Chris March returns! Designing for drag queens!!! Oh god I'm excited!!

BBX: Power of Veto
Man, how did Big Brother go from being awesome to being boring? Oh, that's right, that's how this show always operates. The set-up and Veto Competition were pretty boring tonight. Dan and Memphis's little waking-up-people thing was the lamest thing ever, just like everything Dan does.
Power of Veto: Jerry. He wants Dan to go up.
Memphis's toast: Worst Toast Ever. Stick to mixing the drinks, kid.
Then the show got good. Why? WINE! Everyone got all drunken and lovey during the Feast. Except Jerry, who took Dan's apology and crapped all over it. LOL Jerry. Libra turned on the waterworks, but only succeeded in making me hate her more. She threw Keesha under the bus for orchestrating Jessie's eviction.
Then Michelle and April stirred things up between Keesha and Libra, leading to a 4-way confrontation. "Let's go there then!" Yes please!! Drunken bitches go nuts!
No change to the nominations, it's still Libra and Keesha. I hope Libra goes.

Very Cool Heroes Casting News

This is really cool, I hope it happens. I love Seth and Breckin and them together, on my favorite show? Magical.
Real-life BFFs and frequent collaborators Seth Green and Breckin Meyer are nearing a deal to join the cast of Heroes for multi-episode arcs, sources confirm to me exclusively.
As I first teased in this week's episode of Ausiello TV, the duo will play Atlanta-based comic book aficionados who cross paths with (and perhaps serve as advisors to) one of the Heroes.

I got to watch Big Brother tonight with Faithful Readers Mike and Kim... excellent. The show started off great, picking up from where Jessie was kicked off. Libra gloated, Jerry went ape-S again, then the whole freaking house went ape-S!!! I've never seen the whole house erupt like this, just about everyone was screaming, all loud and yelling over each other. Best House Fight Ever!
But then just as soon as that was over, and some mild bitching and conniving, everyone seemed to get along again. And then another lame food competition, whatever.
Nominated: Libra and Keesha. Michelle made the right decision there.

Eating My Way Through Pennsylvania
So of course most of the activities on my Pennsylvania vacation have revolved around drinking and food. Food I can't get in Florida.
Like Five Guys - I think it might be better than In N Out. Their fries definitely are - that picture is pure 100% food porn.

OK, so I just found out there is a Five Guys in Florida. Still, I haven't had it for over TWO YEARS!
And then Wegman's! I got to shop at Wegman's again! And buy a pound of cookies.

Chance for Hottest Ticket Ever - OVER

John Edwards repeatedly lied during his Presidential campaign about an extramarital affair with a novice filmmaker, the former Senator admitted to ABC News today.
In an interview for broadcast tonight on Nightline, Edwards told ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff he did have an affair with 44-year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he did not love her.
Edwards also denied he was the father of Hunter's baby girl, Frances Quinn, although the one-time Democratic Presidential candidate said he has not taken a paternity test.
Edwards said he knew he was not the father based on timing of the baby's birth on February 27, 2008. He said his affair ended too soon for him to have been the father.
So much for the Hot-Ass Obama/Edwards ticket. *SIGH*

Had to watch Big Brother at CBS.com today, since it was on opposite SYTYCD last night and I didn't have DVR access. Thanks for ruining it by saying it came down to a tie, CBS. Thanks.
But it couldn't have worked out more perfectly, with Dan being the person in the middle that both sides were trying to get. He made promises to both sides, yet he had to vote the way America wanted him to. NICE!
So America chose Jessie to be evicted. Damn, because I really liked him stirring stuff up. Oh wells.
Head of Household: Michelle. Vengeance will be hers!!!

SYTYCD FINALE
This show is over. Sadness. I will miss it, I can't believe it's already over.
Mary Murphy danced a routine and I went nuts! I've never seen her dance before. That was cool. Then Nigel got up and did some wicked tap dancing with members of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and I giggled with delight!!
I was on-board with all of the dances that were chosen as the best of the season. Though, am I right that nothing beats that Neil and Sabra conference-table routine from last year? That door routine might be close though. I guess I like the use of props.
How fun was it seeing past dancers in the Best Of routine? Fun! NEIL! NEIL IS MY DANCE GOD!
Results:
4. Courtney. Excellent.
3. Katee. Damn. I thought for sure she should have been #2 (and would have been fine with #1). She got $50,000 for being the top girl, though. Yay, cash!
2. Twitch
1. JOSHUA!!!! I CAN'T SCREAM BECAUSE BABIES ARE SLEEPING SO I'LL JUST CAPSLOCK IT!!!! GO JOSHUA!!!!!!!!
How awesome that there were two untrained street dancers at the top. GO SHOW!

SYTYCD Finale Performances: 4 Real!
1. Twitch and Courtney - Tabitha & Napoleon Hip Hop. My favorite hip hop. That was an ambitious move, trying to spin her on the top of his head. Didn't exactly work, but that was a tough move.
2. Katee and Joshua. A Wade Robson routine - FINALLY! They were so amazingly in sync. Awesome, of course. Beautiful.
3. Katee and Courtney (oooo - they did same-sex couples, awesome) - Broadway. It was frilly and girly and a lame, happy routine. But they were fine. It was clear Katee was better, she extends just a little bit farther all the time.
4. Joshua and Twitch - some Russian nutcracker dance. Holy crap! I thought for sure they'd be doing a crump or a hip-hop, but this was FIERCE! It was like a Russian dance battle. They were throwing each other around and jumping so far off the ground. So tough!
5. Katee and Twitch - Foxtrot. I thought it was gorgeous, she was great during it. I didn't get to see what all the judges had to say because we had a bit of a power outage. So I missed Mary's critique. Damn!
6. Courtney and Joshua - Jive. He makes it look so easy. SO EASY!
7. Group Routine - Mia Michaels routine. Of course. Much love for an orchestral version of an awesome Paramore song ("Hallelujah")! That was kickass!! It was such a tough, fun dance. And wow, they were so exhausted afterward. Courtney was so out of her league in that.
So here's how I would break it down:
4. Courtney

Blayne is so tanorexic and creepy. Addict. HATE!
Challenge: designing an outfit to be worn by the American team at the Olympics Opening Ceremony. (Way to cross-promote, NBC!)
Joe's was very good, very Sporty Spice. Pretty perfect, except for the "USA" on the skort, I could do without that. I liked Korto's and Terri's little pants outfits too. Korto wins.
Jerell's was a costume, just too weird for this challenge. Nina was right - it was Mary Had A Little Lamb!
Kelli's was adorable, but not relevant either. Everybody who did flouncy skirts? INAPPROPRIATE!
That Apolo Ohno was a really good judge. He was unexpectedly insightful!
Bye-bye: Jennifer and her flouncy skirt. Bye-bye blandest contestant ever!!!

America's Player Dan has to hug Jessie for 10 seconds. LOL. He gives him a sob story about his girlfriend and how cute was Jessie - he was actually all supportive and cute!!!! Dammit - now I like Jessie!
GIRLFIGHT!! And then Jerry joins in. Good lord, that was a GREAT SHOUTING MATCH! Jessie got zero chance to defend himself. And it was even better because it surrounded the lamest birthday party ever. L O freaking L!
During the veto competition April won this cool prize of ten $1000 gold bars. They can be used in the house at any time. So now they're introducing bribes. Like, if she's on the block and wants to be taken off, she could give money to the Veto holder. Brilliant!
Michelle's rampage about having to wear the unitard was hysterical! This house is full of crazy chicks!
Power of Veto: Jerry. Didn't use it, natch.

First up: the conclusion of the endurance Head of Household competition. Jesus, Jessie was really in some pain, wasn't he? With his super-strength? That's weird. Old-ass Renny hung in way longer. And April and Michelle hung in WAY long.
HoH: April, who swore she wouldn't nominate Jessie or Michelle. Why was I not aware of Michelle and Jessie's close relationship? I mean, he was like crying when she was in pain. Where did that come from?
Dan: Lame Motivational Speaker or the Lamest Motivational Speaker?
Nominated: Memphis and Jessie. HOLY CRAP! She went back on her word. WHAT THE HELL? No one ever does that on this show!

Step-Brothers

Yes, Step-Brothers is hysterical, I'm happy to report. It's maybe the most absurd Will Ferrell movie ever, which is saying a lot. I mean, he and John C. Reilly are practically retarded. If they had actually made them retarded, it would have made a little more sense.
But what sense do you need in a comedy? It was hysterical, I love that it was rated R, and it had dick, fart, and balls humor. I love me some balls humor!!! BALLS!

SYTYCD Results
This is I think the first night that I saw Mark's weird-ass dancing as cool and quirky, and not annoying and weird-ass. It was a good choice of song.
Joshua's solo left me in the usual wide-eyed wonder. AND NO MORE BRACES!!! YAY JOSHUA!
There is no greater joy in life than a little kid hip-hop dancer. NO GREATER JOY! That kid was awesome! AND HE IS SIX! I'm getting Owen enrolled in hip-hop classes next week when I go visit him.
Bye-bye: Chelsie. That's OK, it had to be someone, but she's just sodamncute. Mark. YAY TWITCH MADE IT IN!!!
I was fine once I could breathe a sigh of relief that Katee and Joshua were safe. But this is going to be THE GREATEST SYTYCD FINALE EVER!!!!
After last night's bit where Cat put in Twitch's gold teeth ("spit and all") and tonight after she picked up that little kid to interview him, I am prepared to say Cat Deeley is the Best Host on Television. Not just the Best Wonky-Eyed Host on Television.

Best Dance Ever?
Finally remembered to find this video. Not the greatest quality video, but certainly the best dance of last night.
He has no real dance training, people! He's a hip-hop dancer!
BBX: Eviction
I love when people stir up some S when they know they're getting evicted. Yay Angie. WOAH JERRY is a fighter!!! And I gotta love that people don't back down just because he's old, they really give it right back. No pity for the old!
Earthquake Safety by Jessie: 1. Run into the middle of the yard. 2. Remove shirt.
Keesha thinks her housemates "underested" her and saw her as the ditzy blonde. I didn't. Until you used the word "underested" instead of "underestimated".
Evicted: Angie. Why wouldn't they want Jessie out if he's A) being a dick and B) kind of a threat in physical competitions?
America's Player is back. Kind of. America voted for Dan to be AP and he accepted. So he's AP for a week and gets $20k. That's a good amount of cash.
I hate long-ass, endurance Head of Household competitions that can last all night. They make me burn with the desire to look up the results in advance of the next show.

SYTYCD Performances
OMG, how did we get down to 6 dancers already? THIS IS SO SAD! This show is almost over!! Noooo! (Seriously, that totally snuck up on me.)
(Karen - I HAVE to watch the finale at your house next Thursday - DEAL WITH IT! (Please.))
1. Courtney and Mark - Viennese Waltz. They're the worst boy and girl left, right? Kinda dull for me, dawg.
2. Katee and Joshua - reunited YAY - Contemporary. AMAZING! He picks her up and throws her around like it's nothing. We rewound that one. They're the best boy and girl left, right?
3. Chelsie and Twitch - Mambo. Unfortunately, it seemed like they were off-rhythm half of the time. That's his fault. She was great. 10 bucks says they throw him a bone and give them Hip Hop for the second performance.
4. Courtney and Mark - Jazz. That was an exciting, kickass routine and they were really good! Still the worst, but, you know, really good!
5. Katee and Joshua - Paso Doble. Of course they were going to put Joshua's big butt in tight pants again. GOOD LORD! They have this thing LOCKED UP!!! AND HE IS GOING TO WIN IT ALL!! AMAZING! Not only did I rewind it, I need to find it on YouTube tomorrow and post it.
6. Chelsie and Twitch - Hip Hop. Told you so. It actually would have been cooler if he had done some real, hard-hitting hip hop. But Tabitha and Napoleon do those great humorous, lyrical hip hop routines.
I am so obsessed with Tabitha and Napoleon. I had a dream last night that I was hanging out at their house in DC and their house was so awesome. They were my friends. I loved that dream. I was so happy when I woke up.

Project Runway
Am I the only one who says "Hi" to Heidi every week when she comes out and says "Hello" to the designers? Anyone?
I hate Stella. HATE. Her and her "leathah". Seriously, Suede, STOP with the third person. It's disgusting. Seriously, Blayne, STOP with the "licious" thing. It's not catching on. You are not fierce like Christian. Give up.
The designers had to take inspiration from New York at night. Sigh. And Keith picks a picture of a wet, stepped-on magazine. WTF? Dress: fugly. It looked like a wet, stepped-on magazine.
Jerell made an amazing dress in the amount of time everyone else made theirs! Woah! How did he not end up in the top?
Leanne's was SO GOOD, as much as I may not want to admit it because she is SO DULL. Jennifer's was crap.
Winner: Kenley! I was kind of surprised, but YAY BECAUSE I WORSHIP HER!!!
Bye-bye: Emily. Bummer. I thought Jennifer's was worse, AND she had less potential to be good.
Quotes of the episode: "Can you move your boob up a little?" and of course Tim Gunn saying, "Holla at cha boy!"

BBX: Power of Veto
Keesha could be my favorite Head of Household because when she's conniving with someone in the HoH room and someone else comes to the door, she has no problem saying, "Come back in 5 minutes." LOL, because then the new person knows they're being talked about.
American television has devolved to the point where ancient torture techniques are now being used as Power of Veto Competitions. Brilliant.
And now I like Jessie because he effed with Libra while they were undergoing Chinese Water Torture. I know she wanted to jump up and strangle him, I'm really surprised she didn't. Plus he's a freaking high-pressure salesman, working to persuade Keesha to nominate Libra. Good stuff.
A plane with a banner flew overhead and I couldn't read it. Memphis said it said Libra and someone else were liars and that Steven sent it.
Memphis lost it because Jerry called him a womanizer. HOLY CRAP! Womanizing dick. Defensive much?
They're bringing back America's Player on - what? a rotating, weekly basis? Weird.
Winner of Power of Veto: Keesha. She didn't use it. Damn Keesha and her word and not nominating Libra. THAT'S BS!!!!!

What Happens When The Three Funniest Men in the World Get Together
I love Keith Olbermann, Joel McHale, and Simon Pegg too much. And they were all together on the last episode of The Soup! YAY!

Project Runway: Catching Up On Last Week
OMG I just looked up Kenley's bio and she's from Pompano Beach!!! Like, 20 minutes from me!!!! OMGOMGOMGOMGILOVEHER!!!
Still hate and love the same people. Still don't know who half of them are. Still worship at Kenley's feet.
The models went shopping this week, and they had to use organic fabric. It's amusing what crap the models came back with. All those brown dresses were really horrible.
Guest judge: Natalie Portman and her vegan shoes. Yay!
Winner: Suede and his third-person speech. Ick. Did. Not. Get.
Good-bye: Wesley and his shorts. Whoever he is.

BBX: Catching Up on Last Week
It is beyond pathetic to watch 3 episodes of Big Brother in a row. But what better way to spend the first day back from vacation when you're still feeling brain dead and icky? Because this show (and the people on it) is brain dead and icky.
It's actually not that bad when you can just FF through the competitions and do laundry whilst watching.
Renny loves stirring the pot and getting arguments going. And this is why I now love Renny. In-fighting leads to back-dooring. And back-dooring is the single greatest thing to ever happen to Big Brother! Unfortunately, this Back Door Plan didn't work out, but it's still fun to watch the plotting.
When did Libra turn into a raving lunatic? I liked her at first, but DAMN! Even Jerry called Libra a bitch. LOL!!! The old man is not above immature fighting and confrontations, I love that. Holy S he and Libra really got into it!
Evicted: Steven. "Suck it, bitches." LOL. No more Token Gay. DAMMIT!
Head of Household: Keesha. I like her. And she claims she'll stir things up. If things work out and she back-doors Libra it'll be the Funniest Back-Door Ever!
Nominated: Angie and Jessie.
Greatest Showmance Ever: April and Ollie.

What Is Butters Going To Do?

Several media outlets are reporting the nationwide Irish restaurant chain Bennigan's has shut its doors across the country.
According to the reports, employees were informed early in the morning that they had been fired from their jobs.
SYTYCD: The End of the World
I go away for a week, and of course have to immediately catch up on So You Think You Can Dance the minute I walk in the door. NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Not WILL!!!!
The problem with last week is that most of the performances were awesome, and all the dancers are so good now, it's hard to say who should go. Well, Comfort lucked out with getting that hip-hop routine, that's what made her look really good. The only "bad" performance was Comfort and Mark's Foxtrot, so I thought for sure they'd be gone.
But no.
Mark must be getting the Hawaiian vote. Remember that chick Jasmine from American Idol years ago who was Hawaiian and sucked but made it to third place? Those Hawaiians love to call in votes. Mark wasn't even in the Bottom Two - it was Twitch and Will!!! I almost had a heartattack.
To be honest, I'm OK with Will leaving over Twitch. And I think it's the reason he was voted out: the whole Debbie Allen thing. Will clearly already has a great career going, he's a Debbie Allen protege - he doesn't need this show. So when they focused on that on the Performances show, I think that screwed him over.
Comfort left too, which is as it should be.
But Will over Mark? America - this is effed up!

Wolverine Trailer
It has the quality you'd expect of a video of a screen in a 6,500-seat room at Comic-Con. But it's still money! And you can hear how everyone goes nuts for Gambit.

Comic-Con 2008: Saturday and Sunday
Oops. I ended up puking my guts out the whole afternoon on Saturday. So I missed out on some decent panels. But thank heavens I got to see the important ones: Heroes, Lost, and Terminator: Salvation.

We saw the entire Season 3 premiere of Heroes. And I will simply say that it was AWESOME!!! I loved every second of it, I'm so happy. Unfortunately, that meant not much panel discussion or Q&A, but I'll take it because I'm a bigger fan of instant gratification.
I love that cast so much because they're appreciative of the fans and they enjoy it - half of them were taking pictures and recording the event. It was fun.

The Lost panel mostly involved the Dharma Initiative, another one of these role-playing internet things. I'm not involved enough in the show to care about those. The producers answered lots of questions and then brought out a special guest - Matthew Fox. Of all the people they could have brought. I HATE Matthew Fox almost as much as I hate his character, Jack. He didn't say much, so all was well. And I actually found the producers funny. I've only read bad things about them, but they amused me, they weren't pompous or anything. Maybe they were holding back.
I took a picture of this dude who asked a question. He was dressed like Hurley. Which is easy for him, as apparently all he has to do is wear a green shirt. He got a jug of Dharma Ranch Dressing for asking a question. That was hysterical.

I saw a long-ass trailer for Terminator: Salvation before I got ill. IT WAS SO AWESOME!!! It's going to be gritty and brutal and kickass. Between that and Wolverine I'll be a happy girl next summer.
Today we saw John Cho and Kal Penn for a Harold & Kumar panel (NPH wasn't available, dammit!). They were really funny. Turns out John is more like Kumar and Kal is more serious like Harold. John Cho was hysterical.

Finally, somefreaks attendees. This Venom Spiderman has a muffin top.

So that's the end of my Comic-Con experience. Tragically, I was ill for the end of it, but that's OK. I still saw most of what I came for, and had an exhausting blast, as always. Smell ya next year, San Diego!!!

Comic-Con 2008: Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith started his panel by offering people $20 for one of the free Wonder Woman bags they handed out. His wife wanted one, he couldn't find one, and he wants to get laid via the barter system.
He showed 5 minutes of Zack and Miri Make a Porno and then the cast joined him - some dude, Justin Long, Traci Lords, Katie Morgan, Jason Mewes, Seth Rogen, and Elizabeth Banks.
The panel was hilarious, of course. The clip was great - Justin Long and Brandon Routh play a gay couple. The movie got an NC-17 rating for the first 3 cuts. Now he's appealing it to the ratings board. Otherwise he has to cut "thrusting" and "something unspeakable." He is contractually obligated to deliver an R-rated movie.
Kevin was asked if there's any subject so offensive he won't touch it. He said, "I can't do anything with rape. In real life either." He's done with the Jay and Silent Bob characters. He is toying with a Clerks 3 with the guys in their late 40s. He wants to do a courtroom drama. Next up is a horror movie, followed by something he couldn't discuss, other than saying it was "set in space".
Kevin Smith is a god among men with his quick wit. Love it.
I'm lining up at 4 AM tomorrow for the Heroes panel. Is that weird? I just want to do the crazy fangirl thing. As if going to Comic-Con weren't enough.
Comic-Con 2008: The Middling Stuff

The Wolfman - Emily Blunt and Benicio del Toro. We saw a trailer and it looks cool. It has a very Sleepy Hollow feel to me. It's set in the 1800s and they did makeup for the Wolfman, not CGI. The transformation might end up being CGI though. It looked alright.

The Spirit - Director Frank Miller and Samuel L. Jackson. I wanted to like The Spirit, I really did. I liked the teaser trailer. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that this movie looks like CRAP!!!
They said "there's nothing campy about this movie." But it looks campy, and corny, and boring. And no disrespect to Frank Miller, who is insanely talented, but he's not funny. And he's boring. Like his movie.
Boo.
Comic-Con 2008: 24

Apologies for the even-crappier-than-normal pic - I was at the back of the room. I was lucky to get into the 24 panel, as they were only taking 20 more people behind me.
They showed a trailer for the November TV movie, as well as a clip. It featured Jack in Africa herding kids to an embassy. The whole movie was filmed in South Africa and fills in some time before Season 7. Jack had a messenger bag and did tons of shooting - ergo, it was awesome.
Carlos Bernard got massive response from the audience. I didn't realize he was a fan favorite - he's certainly always been my favorite. They didn't explain how Tony is coming back. Kiefer said that it's a "clever" way that he's coming back, and that it's interesting "what was done behind people's backs." Whatever. I'll take it.
Carlos joked about having been jobless since Tony died. He said, "there's a little softcore coming out soon." You have no idea how much I wish that weren't a joke. The writers brought him back because they didn't love the way Tony died and one of them joked that they brought Carlos back just so they could kill him again (which he quickly amended with "No we won't."). Carlos got up and started throwing cash at the writer. Carlos was hysterical.
Kiefer said he got to shoot at and tackle Carlos in their first scene together. God I live for a good Jack and Tony confrontation.
Brilliant Audience Member of the Day: This guy Cameron who commented on Jack's pervasive use of the word Dammit, followed by a request for him to use it on him. I squeed when Kiefer got all Jack Bauer up there and yelled "Dammit, Cameron!" Then when the kid walked away he yelled, "Dammit, Cameron, don't walk away from me!" Brilliant. He said that he started saying Dammit a lot because it's the one word he can get past the censors. Then he got wind of the Drinking Game and scaled it back some. Allegedly.
They of course got the obligatory question "When do people on the show pee?" Kiefer said they shot a bathroom scene once but it got cut. His rule is that any time the show cuts to the White House, that's when Jack pees, eats, and drinks.
Kiefer said episodes 8-11 are particularly exciting. They are still hoping to do a movie, but probably not until the show is over.
He was asked what the coolest thing Jack has done so far is, and he said "chopping that guy's head off in Season 2." Sweet.
Kiefer was very thankful - he probably said "thank you" 6 times at the end and he said we all rock. We do. And 24 had better be good this year!!!
Comic-Con 2008: Watchmen

First up, Watchmen.
The panel: Malin Akerman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Carla Gugino, Jackie Earle Haley, Billy Crudup, Patrick Wilson, Matthew Goode, and Director Zack Snyder. They showed us a special extended trailer. There still wasn't any dialogue in it, but we got to see a lot more. It's going to be so hyper-stylized and visually stunning. Yes, those will be the review quotes.
The cast was pretty cool.
LOL moments:
Question for Billy Crudup: "What was it like being a blue man and was the rest of the Blue Man Group jealous you got the part?"
Answer: "We're not on speaking terms anymore."
When someone dressed as Rorschach asked Zack about the recent trend toward more mature comic book movies, Zack responded, "It's cool that you are asking about a more mature audience while you're dressed like that." I love it when the panelists make fun of people. And people don't seem to mind it either.
I don't know who this Matthew Goode kid is but he was funny and cool (and not just cuz he's British). He's playing Adrian with a bit of a German accent in his private life. This doesn't concern me, but fanboys might freak out, I don't know. He seemed to have a good explanation for it, thinking Adrian's parents were Nazis.
The movie should be awesome, and hopefully faithful to the comic.
